Guardian is being used on a housing estate in Cape Town to notify the residents that an intrusion has occurred.
The residents receive the notification on their cellphones.
Now the residents know exactly which zone has been breach.
They are no longer reliant on the security guards to notify them of a breach of security.
A further benefit is when the intruder leave the estate the residents are informed which zone has been activated and take appropriate action.
In conjunction with other security measures the residents have implemented the incidents of attempted intrusions has dropped dramatically.
